Just is a brand-new program, that was launched in 2016 and conceived in 2015 to meet the division’s long-term need to radically enhance the security and the operational efficiency. This program, based on the BBS (Behavior Based Safety), employs the so-called E-colors technique. By means of a quick questionnaire, said technique identifies the personality of employees, assigning to each of them a combination of two top colors chosen among the 4 available ones. Obviously, each color represents a series of specific character traits. Each combination of colors reflects a mix of character traits defining a personality. Knowing and understanding an employee’s virtues and traits is the essence of the program, allowing everyone to work together and take full advantage of the employee’s potential. How do we share these characteristics? The combinations of colors corresponding to each employee are shown on the hard hat and in the signatures of e-mails. This process, started in 2016, will take some time since it aims at changing our habits and the way we work in order to decrease accidents, improve communication, be more efficient, and enhance, as well, production and operations. As of today, the program is being implemented in Chile and Argentina and the idea is to expand it to the other Petreven branches.
