New contract in Peru with PETROBRAS for a total of USD 17 million

The subsidiary PETREVEN signed in Peru a second important contract with PETROBRAS ENERGIA PERÙ S.A. for the supply of oil drillling services for a total amount of USD 17 million.

Works are due to start in May 2007 and will last 36 months; the contract could be automatically extended – provided there’s no explicit cancellation from the parties – to 24 more months, reaching a maximum counter value of USD 28 million.
