Venezuela - The H200 plant first in 2015 Ranking
The H-200 Petreven plant placed first in the 2015 classification. This plant, which has been operating in Venezuela since 2002, has a working team with the highest number of man/hours of work accumulated and conquered the first place of the 2015 Ranking. This result makes us particularly proud and gives us the strength to face the difficulties that may arise in the future. It belongs to all the employees of the Venezuelan branch, since it originates from the willingness of Petreven human resources. Venezuela, unfortunately, is currently experiencing a serious crisis triggered by the highest inflation in the world, the rapid devaluation of the local currency (Bolivar), deficiencies on many fronts, not only in terms of food, but also of supply of materials and spare parts, and an unprecedented shortage of oil in the recent history. A crisis that has sadly reached tragic levels with generalized deficiencies in food, medicine and other raw materials necessary to the population. In this particular scenario, and despite all these adverse circumstances, Petreven managed to achieve these results thanks to the sacrifice, the good will and the love for work demonstrated by all its workers. And it is not just about the H-200 plant! Petreven has attained excellent results with the team of the HH-301 plant as well, conquering with great efforts the fourth place in the 2015 Ranking. It should be also noted that, in Venezuela, employees have committed themselves to work in line with the purpose of “zero accidents” and production increase, despite difficulties resulting from the severe economic, political and social situation. The Venezuelan branch of Petreven spurred the teams with local events and awards for both the control staff and the mechanical operators. Even though these prizes are more symbolic than valuable, they reward workers with a clear message that confers them importance and responsibility, emphasizing how the commitment to increase safety is reflected in the quality of life and in the respect for each of their families.
